These photos were shot with a tripod-mounted Canon EOS 20D SLR digital camera with a Canon 28-105 F3.5-f4.5 USM lens. The shutter was triggered with a cable-actuated shutter release to avoid camera shake. The fireworks shots were generally taken at ISO 400, f7.1-f13 aperture and the shutter speed at anywhere from 2 to 5 seconds. The downtown shots were generally taken at ISO 400, f7.1/-f9 aperture and the shutter speed at anywhere from 1/60 - 4 seconds.
