These photos were shot with a tripod-mounted Canon PowerShot G1 digital camera. The shutter was triggered with the provided remote, which has a 2-second delay to avoid camera shake. The fireworks shots were generally taken at f5.6 aperture (though some of the first shots were attempted at as low as f4.0 and as high as f7.1) and the shutter speed at anywhere from 4 to 8 seconds.
